Sydney Harbour has welcomed its newest event venue, a $15-million-dollar luxury superyacht named The Jackson, after Port Jackson.

Featuring designer decor and furnishings on par with 5-star venues, the vessel has set a new benchmark for on-water venues in Sydney, and is licensed to host up to 700 guests cocktail style.

The Main Deck welcomes guests onboard with floor-to-ceiling windows affording harbour views from every angle. This space can host up to 300 guests banquet style or 400 guests cocktail style making it desirable for corporate events, incentive and team building events, conference dinners, cocktail events, product launches and social events.

The grand spiral staircase leads up to the Mid Deck with elevated views of the Harbour and intimate private rooms – ideal for smaller corporate and private events – while at the very top, you’ll find The Jackson Bar, the vessel’s own version of a rooftop bar.

The Menu and Beverage experience onboard is central to The Jackson‘s offering, with the menu focused on high quality, sustainable seafood and premium Australian seasonal produce, alongside some of Australia’s best wines.

Additionally, the superyacht’s sister vessel The Jackson Flyer, is a 60-person tender vessel, allowing guests to board from almost all ferry wharves and private Marinas in Sydney Harbour, with the main two pickup locations being King Street Wharf, and Wharf 6, Circular Quay.

The Jackson general manager Nick Lester said the vessel brings the best event venue experience with the harbour and city as its backdrop.

“To date we’ve hosted over 60 site inspections from Australia’s MICE market and corporate sector event organisers, all keen to view Sydney’s newest luxury event venue, resulting in exciting bookings for the year ahead,” Lester said.

From spring 2022, The Jackson will host a calendar of special events, providing guests the very best viewing position of Sydney’s spectacular Harbour.
