In a bid to highlight its prowess in the business events sector, Brisbane is gearing up for its annual industry event – the Brisbane Pop-Up, taking place 14 September 2023 at Hilton Brisbane.

Hosted by Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA), the event will see more than 50 local accommodations, venues, and service providers come together to showcase the city’s thriving event offerings.

With the theme “Future is Bright,” this year marks the 16th iteration of the event, which has established itself as an indispensable platform for event planners and conference organisers to witness firsthand the world-class capabilities of Brisbane as a premier destination for business gatherings.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner welcomed the return of Brisbane Pop-Up to the city’s booming events calendar.

“Brisbane Pop-Up is an opportunity for local businesses and suppliers to connect and support one another, while contributing to our growing local economy,” Lord Mayor Schrinner said.

“Home to the world’s brightest minds and industry-leading research programs, Brisbane has everything event organisers’ need to ignite innovation and build lasting legacies.”

BEDA chief executive officer, Anthony Ryan, echoed this sentiment, assuring attendees that this year’s event would be nothing short of inspiring.

“Brisbane has a strong track record in seamlessly delivering exceptional business and industry events,” Mr Ryan said.
