Having cleaned up extensive damage from the major weather event, the city’s events industry is bouncing back, welcoming 6000 delegates for the 2025 Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP2025) at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 20-22 March.
APP2025 is the largest pharmacy conference in the southern hemisphere, and it signals a return to business activity for the embattled Gold Coast region.
“The Gold Coast remains a safe, vibrant and welcoming destination, offering hundreds of world-class experiences, and our industry partners are ready to welcome delegates,” says Avril Harris, Experience Gold Coast’s executive director of events.
“Between inspiring keynote speakers and presentations, delegates can enjoy the city’s superb food, wine, coffee and craft brews, get up close with local wildlife, explore world-class art at HOTA, or indulge in some retail therapy at our premier shopping centres.”
APP2025 will bring together pharmacy professionals, industry leaders and exhibitors from across Australia.
The event is supported by Experience Gold Coast and the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland. It is expected to inject more than $14.5 million into the Gold Coast economy.
