In an effort to make life wonderful in challenging times, The Ovolo Group is extending its internal mission ‘Shiny Happy People’ to the tourism and hospitality industries, its guests and community with the launch of ‘The Wonder. Full. Project.’
The project follows the recent launch of the designer hotel group’s ‘Vax. Pact.’ initiative, which has pledged 100 percent of its employees will be fully vaccinated by 31 December 2021. The initiative will also reward guests for getting vaccinated, offering them special benefits such as discounts, perks and bonus experiences from mid-September.
With the immediate future of tourism and hospitality dependant on high vaccination rates, Ovolo Group founder and chief executive officer Girish Jhunjhnuwala said that as a business, his company has a responsibility towards the industry to drive this.
“Vax. Pact. is the first step but, within our power, we will do whatever it takes; The Wonder. Full. Project helps just that little bit more,” Jhunjhnuwala said.
Designed to connect emotionally with Ovolo’s community, employees, and industry, The Wonder. Full. Project will also be supporting several community initiatives with its online F.A.M.E. Series through Instagram’s IG Live platform. Ovolo’s guests and online community will have the opportunity to participate in a range of online experiences, led by various musicians, artists, chefs, and yoga instructors.
Meanwhile, the group’s Live. Give. Local. project will involve numerous charitable and fundraising initiatives across Hong Kong, Indonesia and Australia, led by Ovolo hotels and their teams, commencing with a Wesley Mission partnership in Australia.
