No more COVID-related travel restrictions for Europe

Spain was the last country in Europe to lift all of its remaining restrictions.

With Spain dropping its remaining COVID travel restrictions, travellers can now visit the whole of Europe for the first time in two-and-a-half years.

From 21 October, travellers are no longer required to provide proof of vaccination, a negative test, or that they had recently recovered from COVID-19. Health control forms have also been scrapped.

Spain was the last country in Europe to lift all of its restrictions, following the likes of France, Italy and Greece, who had already lifted theirs for the popular European summer season.

Pre-pandemic, Spain was the second most-visited country in the world, after France.
