TFE Hotels’ Travelodge Hotel Hurstville has opened in Sydney’s southwest, catering to both business and leisure guests.
It also boasts the largest corporate function space outside of the CBD, catering for up to 800 guests with the additional option of being divided into three separate meetings and events spaces.
Located just 20 minutes by fast train from the city, the 124-room hotel was developed by the Illawarra Catholic Club next to it and features a rooftop bar and restaurant with sprawling views, as well as a ground floor grab ‘n’ go food option.
TFE Hotels’ group chief operating officer, Chris Sedgwick said Travelodges are always situated in great locations, offering convenience and accessibility.
“This rings true for Travelodge Hurstville which, in addition to the Club offerings and hotel amenities, also gives guests the option to host large-scale meetings and events within striking distance of the CBD, plus multi-functional communal spaces for those impromptu meetings and gatherings,” he said.
The new Travelodge also marks TFE Hotels’ new design direction, with smart, functional features, carefully considered spatial planning, an earthy colour palette, high ceilings, breakout spaces, and loads of natural light.
Travelodge Hotel Hurstville is also in close proximity the Royal National Park, the airport, Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, and Westfield Hurstville shopping centre.
Travelodge Hotel specialist, Ansarina Flower has been appointed general manager.
