Sydney will soon welcome a new designer hotel option, with the opening of ADGE Hotel + Residences in Surry Hills next month.
Designed in collaboration between Tzannes and Team 2 Architects, with interiors by SJB, the new hotel will be located alongside the former Cambridge Hotel, which is being rebranded to be a part of ADGE Hotel + Residences and is undergoing a significant overhaul. The total value of the site’s renovations is $65 million.
La Vie Hotels & Resorts has been appointed as the hotel operator and will manage the hotel on behalf of owners Cienna Group.
“We are thrilled to be working with the team at Cienna Group to open this wonderfully colourful, vibrant hotel, right in the heart of Surry Hills,” La Vie Hotels & Resorts chief executive officer and founder, Jerry Xu, saif.
“We believe ADGE Hotel + Residences will become a true representation of the spirit and energy that makes this neighbourhood so special.”
ADGE Hotel will offer 93 guest rooms featuring pod-style bathrooms, alongside 12 existing two-bedroom apartments that feature open plan living and dining, as well as fully equipped kitchens and wraparound balconies.
Once the renovation of the former Cambridge Hotel is complete, the entire facility will have a total of 242 guestrooms and an Italian-style restaurant with a well-known chef set to take the reins.
Other dining facilities include Soul Deli Korean food, and Japanese omakase restaurant, Raida Noda’s Chef Kitchen, which seats eight diners at a time.
