New on-site COVID-screening service gives event planners and attendees peace of mind

Led by a 30-year nursing veteran, Event Health Hub's team of clinically trained registered nurses can manage COVID-19 testing at events of all sizes in Australia and New Zealand.

Event Health Hub, a new COVID-screening health service for events which launched in February is already proving popular with planners and giving peace of mind to attendees.

Led by 30-year nursing veteran, Jo Keough, the Hub has a team of clinically trained registered nurses who manage COVID-19 testing at events of all shapes and sizes in Australia and New Zealand.

The team meets guests on arrival and explains the testing process before issuing rapid antigen tests (RAT). Results are checked and clearances issued. In the event of a positive test result, the nurse will discuss options and next steps with the attendee, and alleviate any uncertainty.

The system was successfully used at an expo at the ICC Sydney in February where all attendees were tested for COVID prior to entry into the event each day.

“It not only provides event planners with peace of mind but attendees as well and is the best way of ensuring people can come together safely for their important gatherings,” Keough said.

As well as providing COVID testing services, Event Health Hub can arrange for a registered nurse to travel with groups and be a part of the on-site event team to ensure attendee health needs are met, and provide staff at an Onsite Health Hub to assist individuals with discretion and compassion who have ongoing medical challenges and special needs.

The organisation is based in Sydney and has trained staff all over Australia and New Zealand and offers a lower price point than other companies.
