Melbourne welcomes Holiday Inn Express Little Collins for events

With face-to-face business events firmly returning, Melbourne has seen an increase in enquiries for inner city spaces.

IHG Hotels & Resorts in partnership with Pro-invest Group have opened the doors to one of Melbourne’s newest business hotels in the heart of the city, Holiday Inn Express Little Collins.

Featuring four meeting spaces inspired by the iconic buildings and architecture surrounding the hotel, conference and meeting planners looking for small to medium sized spaces can be confident that all their requirements will be met for groups from 10 to 50.

The modern spaces are inclusive of AV/tech hire and offer either blackout blinds or floor-to-ceiling views over the city and one of Melbourne’s most iconic laneways.

The hotel features 312 rooms that have been smartly designed to include features such as complimentary Express Start Breakfast, a study nook, fast WiFi, walk-in shower, premium bedding, choice of firm and soft pillows and black-out blinds.

With face-to-face business events firmly returning, Melbourne has seen an increase in enquiries for inner city spaces.

The hotel aims to provide a base for business travellers keen on accommodation that allows them to experience more for less, focusing on the travel essentials and keeping things simple while allowing them to get out and access the city’s best shopping, dining and cultural attractions.

Located within the free CBD tram zone, it allows travellers to get to meetings, attend events and make the most of their city stay without the hassle of organising transport.

With sustainability a priority for many corporate travellers, the property is on track to achieve Green Engage Level 1 Certification – Partner status and is targeting a minimum 4.5-star NABERS Energy & Water rating after 12 months of operation. In addition, the hotel is committed to reducing plastic and has phased out single use plastics with Zip Taps located through-out the hotel.
