Hannover Fairs Australia has partnered with Melbourne Royal to deliver the FutureAg EXPO at Melbourne Showgrounds, 17-19 April 2024.
The major international agricultural event will bring together professionals from various sectors including agriculture 4.0, investment, trade, technology, jobs and education, security, energy, and sustainability. The event aims to strengthen the Australian agriculture industry by promoting initiatives that boost exports, drive the adoption of AgTech, and create opportunities for further expansion of the skilled labor force within the sector.
The partnership with Melbourne Royal holds significant value, as the organisation has been an esteemed champion of excellence in agriculture since 1848. Additionally, Melbourne Showgrounds, the iconic home of Victorian agriculture, offers the ideal space and versatility to host a world-class exhibition on a large scale.
Hannover Fairs Australia commercial director, Mike Nissen, emphasised the importance of FutureAg EXPO for Australian farmers and producers.
“FutureAg is an opportunity for the farmers and producers of Australia to see the latest innovations in the industry,” Nissen said.
Furthermore, CNH Industrial, a prominent player in the agricultural machinery sector, has also come onboard as another event partner, with CNH Industrial Australia/New Zealand managing director, Brandon Stannett, expressing enthusiasm for supporting the even on Australian soil.
“This is an exciting opportunity for CNH Industrial to support this international event right here in Australia, and it’s well aligned with our own commitment to ongoing machinery innovation and the evolution of ag tech,” Stannett said.
“It’s also a chance to highlight the career opportunities that exist in the industry, with labour shortages a current challenge. There are many different paths for such a range of skills in agriculture, and we rely on events like these to provide.”
FutureAg EXPO promises to be a pivotal event for the Australian agriculture industry, providing a platform for innovation, knowledge exchange, and collaboration across various sectors. Attendees can look forward to a comprehensive showcase of cutting-edge technologies, investment opportunities, and sustainable practices that will shape the future of agriculture in Australia and beyond.
