The experienced hotel sales, marketing and events specialist joins Kakadu Tourism from Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, where he worked for the past three years as event sales executive.
Prior to that role, French-born Codino worked at Darwin Sailing Club, managing events and sales.
In his new role at Kakadu Tourism, based in its Darwin office, he will manage the marketing and selling of a portfolio of hotels and tourism products including Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel, Cooinda Lodge, Yellow Water Campground, Yellow Water Cruises, Yellow Water Fishing and Kakadu Adventure Tours.
Codino will work with travel trade and NT tourism partners to boost international and domestic visitation to Kakadu National Park, one of Australia’s greatest natural and cultural assets, which features spectacular landscapes and more than 65,000 years of continuous Indigenous heritage.
