Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) has announced the appointment of Sally Hein as director of sales.

Hein will be responsible for the team driving domestic and international sales activity and will report to GCCEC general manager Adrienne Readings.

“I’m confident that Sally will take every opportunity to build on the successes of the past 18 years and lead our sales strategy for 2023 and beyond,” Readings said.

“Sally has an extensive knowledge of the business event industry and a strong client focus that supports our business goals and vision.”

Hein brings extensive experience of the tourism and business events industries and an impressive track record to the role and said she is thrilled to join the Centre.

“I am genuinely thrilled to be appointed as director of sales for the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. Business Events have always been my passion and to be able to be involved with conferences on the scale that GCCEC attracts is very exciting.”
