One of Brazil's leading destination management companies has announced the appointment of Sydney-based Tourism Portfolio as its exclusive Australian sales and marketing representative.


One of Brazil’s leading destination management companies (DMC) has announced the appointment of Sydney-based Tourism Portfolio as its exclusive Australian sales and marketing representative.

Created in 1991 by Swiss-Brazilian Richard Lengsfeld, B.I.T. (Brazilian Incentives & Tourism) designs and delivers innovative incentives, events and special group travel experiences in Brazil and across South America.


Tourism Portfolio has been appointed as the Australian sales and marketing representaive to groups seeking a unique group travel experience in Brazil.

Until now the Rio de Janeiro-based company has focused strongly on Europe and the US, with clients including global brands such as Porsche, Peugeot, VW, Siemens, Bosch and Microsoft.

Tourism Portfolio Director Donna Kessler says B.I.T. is now determined to expand its presence in the Australian market.

“South America is an exotic and exciting destination offering friendly people, excellent cuisine, unforgettable natural attractions and incredible contrasts,” says Kessler. “But it also provides genuine value for money, outstanding service levels and high-quality shows and events that will appeal strongly to the Australian market.”
