Air New Zealand has revamped its Sydney-Rotorua schedule and in the process has made it more efficient for the conference and conventions market from Australia.
Effective September 2014, Air New Zealand will shift its services to Monday and Thursday instead of the current Tuesday and Saturday flights.

Air New Zealand Chief Operating Officer Bruce Parton said the move was aimed at stimulating passenger growth on the route.
“The new schedule will better suit the needs of customers travelling between these two ports for both business and leisure purposes,” he said.
At the same time, Rotorua International Airport has agreed to reduce the international departure tax from $25 to $15 from next month.
