Staging Rentals & Construction Services has opened the doors to a brand new event construction workshop, in new premises in Port Melbourne, doubling its custom painting, building and construction capabilities in Victoria.
The decision to expand the construction arm of the Victorian business was in line with the industry’s need for clever, fast turnaround and quality custom elements required for sets, props, exhibition stands, stages and catwalks, said Damien Collins, state manager of Staging Rentals & Construction Services.
“We’ve had our own CNC machine in Melbourne for 12 months which has allowed us to create efficient, high quality event solutions for our clients locally. This capability has opened the door to do more of what our clients need – quickly and professionally.
“The new warehouse gives our clients the ability to see all our AllySTAGE, extensive range of drapes and display and revolve staging at ease.
“Now with a greater capacity for construction, we’ve realised our dream – to be the ultimate staging, draping and event construction company in Melbourne,” said Collins.
David Comer, managing director, Staging Rentals & Construction Services knows the value of having extensive construction services on the ground in Melbourne.
“For event managers and producers, having somewhere local that can deliver world-class event solutions is the difference between delivering a good event and an excellent one.
“We’ve worked hard to ensure this capability has been developed in line with the growth and diversification of our clients’ needs.
“Teamed with our CAD Design Manager’s talent, the excellent project team and the extensive range of rental stock, we believe we have a solid offering for the events industry in Victoria,” said Comer.
The new Staging Rentals & Construction Services warehouse is located at 20 Woodruff Street, Port Melbourne, VIC.
