Do you want to spend one-on-one time with some of the top women in the Australian tourism industry? You can at the next Women in Tourism event.
Next month, Women in Tourism will run its first Speed Mentoring evening.
50 mentors, 50 attendees and 50 minutes of fast and furious mentoring-focussed networking.
With mentors coming from all parts of the industry including media, destination management, government, tourism business and start-ups, PR, events and hotels, this is your chance to ask burning questions, ask for advice or simply introduce yourself to some of the big names in Australian travel.
Kirsten Rowlingson from Virgin in-flight magazine’s Voyeur magazine, Astrid Mulholland-Licht from the Austrian National Tourism Board, Carolyn Childs from My Travel Research and Lisa Hobbs from Dedes Group are just a few of the big names who will be there on the night.
In another first, Women in Tourism is partnering with local charity Dress for Success Sydney to raise funds and provide support to women re-entering the workforce. 100% of booking fees will go directly to Dress for Success Sydney and there will be a handbag and cash donation drop-off zone on the night. If you have an unwanted quality and work appropriate handbag in excellent condition, please bring it along and donate it to a good cause. Work appropriate jewellery (necklaces, bracelets/bangles and earrings) in all colours are also very welcome.
This event is proudly sponsored by TFE Hotels and will take place in the fully refurbished new café, restaurant and bar, Storehouse on the Park at Vibe Hotel Rushcutters Bay.
