Pacific Blue Airlines has added two additional weekly flights to Nadi from Brisbane following ongoing demand and strong support for more seats on the route.
“The strong statistics and ongoing support has given us the confidence to commit further resources to this route and the additional flights between Brisbane and Nadi is a clear indication of our faith in the Fiji market and its long term viability,” said Virgin Blue CEO, Brett Godfrey.
Pacific Blue has increased Fiji flights
The announcement of the additional Friday and Sunday flights comes just days before the highly anticipated reopening of the Sheraton Fiji Resort on November 1, following a USD$22 million renovation.
Along with the total transformation of the hotel’s rooms and general areas, a new, 1000 square-metre meetings and space has been added. Called the Tagimoucia Events Centre, it be the largest of its kind on Denarau Island.
The new flights commence on December 19 and will take Pacific Blue’s offering to 16 on the Brisbane-Nadi route every week.
Airfares will start from AUD$349 one way on the internet.
