The Sydney Chapter of the International Special Events Society or ISES Sydney welcomed several new members to their management committee under the leadership of returning President Paul Davison at the ISES Sydney AGM held in conjunction with their July networking event at The American Club last week.
“ISES provides outstanding networking opportunities that are friendly, inspiring, motivational and unique. And we do it the way ISES has always done it – through commitment, through passion, all the while having a great time.”
This refreshed committee will continue to develop networking events to provide a platform of education and development to members and the wider special events industry.

Outgoing committee members include Jeremy Garling (President: 2009 – 2011), Meg Fisher (President: 2007-2009) and Susan Le Roux (Vice President of Membership: 2009 – 2011). Their immense contributions were acknowledged at the AGM.
“There are great projects the ISES board are working on at the moment. Communicating these ideas to our audience to benefit the members as well as the broader events environment is something we all feel strongly about.
“We aim to strengthen member communications to provide a greater return on investment whilst engaging a broader audience with compelling messages to spread the work of the committee throughout the Sydney meetings and events industry” said Davison.
ISES Sydney will be exhibiting at Sydney’s Event Showcase, 15-16 August at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.
