Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Blue have announced a new Interline Agreement that allows passengers to connect seamlessly between flights using a single ticket.

The new agreement complements the existing Codeshare Arrangement, which has been in place since July 2005.

“This improvement in our service delivery is part of our commitment to making air travel as hassle free as possible delivering seamless domestic and international connections between the two Virgin airlines,” said Virgin Blue manager – Interline, Gordon Young.

Added Virgin Atlantic director – commercial and revenue planning, Edmond Rose: “Passengers flying on Virgin Atlantic between London and Sydney via Hong Kong can experience the award winning Upper Class Suite – with the biggest fully flat bed in business class and the new Upper Class Wing at Heathrow which offers a private security corridor.”
