Byron Bay is stepping up to the business events plate with the launch of a regional bureau.
With an increase in accommodation capacity, thanks to the new Elements M Gallery, Byron Bay can now host events for 300+ delegates.
The new organisation has been established to assist businesses with their conferencing, incentive and business event needs such as venues, accommodation, catering and activities.
Byron Business Events Bureau project manager Jen Murphy said,“The natural environs and lifestyle inspire fresh, new ideas. And we know that it’s new ideas that drive business innovation.”
Byron Business Events Bureau website is the central location for coordinating venues, activities, accommodation, partner programs, logistics, transport and catering.
“There’s not many conference destinations where you can do business and see a whale breaching in your lunch break, have an early morning lighthouse jog and spot turtles, taste locally sourced produce and eat line-caught snapper, fished from clean waters in the Bay,” said Murphy.
Byron Business Events Bureau was formed and funded through a collaborative partnership between the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency Destination NSW, Byron Shire Council, Ballina Byron Gateway Airport, Byron at Byron Resort and Spa, Elements of Byron and Flash Camp.
