British Airways has released a range of discounted airfares to London and its network of over 75 European destinations for travel between February 1 and November 31, 2011 from AUD$1742 return.

“Whether it is London, Paris, Rome or Barcelona, we hope these fares encourage Australians to discover (a range of) European destinations,” said British Airways Regional Commercial Manager, South West Pacific, Nicole Backo.

In 2010, British Airways was recognised as ‘Best European Airline’ for the 10th consecutive year, ‘Best Airline in Europe’ at the Business Traveller Asia Pacific Awards and the 2010 Passenger Choice Awards.

“British Airways is proud to have the largest flight network in Europe and to be so highly regarded in our service on these routes,” Backo said.

For travel in February and March prices start from $1742 (to Madrid) and $1798 (London) in Economy and from $3522 in World Traveller Plus including taxes, fees and charges. The sale ends at midnight February 8, 2011.
