The Mettle Attitude Award is given to an ISES volunteer who achieves results and who is always willing to contribute to the special events industry, even in trying times.
A skilled business communicator, Lehman is a key figure in the special events profession in Australia. He is a foundation member and former president of the Australian Chapter of ISES and is currently the Chair of the International Relations Committee.
Lehman has over three decades experience in the events industry. Over this time, he has worked with many of Australia’s leading companies and organisations helping them to plan and organise positive motivational outcomes for their social function, conferences, launches and training events.
He is also the only Australian qualified as a Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) for life – an internationally recognised qualification bestowed by the George Washington University and the International Special Events Society.
Lehman said Australians were well recognised for their professional contribution to special events globally and he was delighted to have his work applauded on the world stage in a field he passionately supports.
