Réunion Island’s Air Austral has announced pricing for its Sydney-Paris flights, which are due commence in April 2009 using Boeing 777 aircraft.

The airline is introducing a twice-weekly service via St Denis on Réunion Island and will offer three classes of travel — economy, premium economy and business.

Réunion is located 200km south-west of Mauritius and is one of the furthest overseas regions of France.

Travel to Paris, Lyon, Marseille or Toulouse in Loisirs Classe (economy class) starts at $2,126, in Confort Classe (premium economy) for $4,552 or Club Austral (business class) for $7,352.

Air Austral’s network from its hub St Denis includes Mauritius, along with Seychelles, Madagascar, Johannesburg, and the French cities of Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Toulouse.
