Australian Venue Co. has partnered with multinational brewery BrewDog to open a large venue in Sydney’s South Eveleigh later this year.
Construction for the $3.2 million project situated within the historic locomotive workshop commenced in August. It will feature an expansive indoor dining area, bar and beer garden, with capacity for 720 patrons inside and 190 outside.
“We’re so excited to bring ‘The Dog’ to Sydney, the space is truly incredible; we’re thrilled to be part of the next chapter of the historic South Eveleigh precinct,” Australian Venue Co. NSW state manager Evan Gargaro said.
“The huge beer garden is going to be a hit; we can’t wait to open this venue just in time for the Sydney summer.”
There will be 40 brews on tap including an extensive selection of BrewDog draught beers in addition to guest beer tap takeovers and collaborations with local breweries, while 50 percent of the food menu will be plant-based.
It marks the second venue to open under the partnership following BrewDog Pentridge in Melbourne in June.
