Arinex celebrates 50 years, unveils new branding

More than 250 clients along with past and present Arinex staff, came together at ICC Sydney to celebrate the milestone anniversary.

Arinex has unveiled its “refreshed” branding, including a new logo and tagline, at an event celebrating the PCO company’s 50 years in operation.

Arinex also paid tribute to its founder, Roslyn McLeod OAM, who founded the company in 1973 and remained its head until 2021.

The event took place at the ICC Sydney on May 12, where more than 250 clients, along with past and present Arinex staff, came together to celebrate the milestone anniversary.

“Arinex has a proud history of delivering exceptional event solutions for our clients around the world. Our refreshed brand stays true to our legacy while emphasising our commitment to innovation, creativity and connection,” Arinex managing director, Nicole Walker said.

Having built a reputation as a leader in the business events industry, Arinex has maintained its core brand hallmarks, including its signature pink colour.

“Our new logo is a symbol of our vision for the future – to continue building genuine connection and success stories for our clients through inspiring experiences. It features a modern design that reflects our progressive outlook.

“The simplified tagline, ‘Inspiring Experiences’ emphasises our passion for delivering on our clients’ ambitions.”

Arinex used the occasion to highlight some of its major achievements over the years, including 60 events for the 1988 Australian Bicentenary, 1995 Global Cultural Diversity Conference, Corroboree 2000, BHP’s Corporate Hospitality Program for Sydney 2000 Olympics, LNG12 and LNG18, and many other key national and international scientific and medical conferences.

It also re-affirmed its commitment to innovation. Arinex was the first event management company to process conference registrations and abstracts over the Internet using event management software in the 90s. In 2022, it became the first event management company in Australia to be certified carbon neutral.

McLeod reflected on her career journey spanning over 20,000 days, honouring her mentors and networks gained along the way.

“In business events we talk a lot about legacy. The best legacy to come out of 50 years is the relationships and friends created and maintained. I have run my race and I now leave the company in the capable hands of Nicole Walker,” Roslyn McLeod OAM said during her tribute at the event.
