Marriott International has appointed Deb McDiarmid to Area Director of Marketing for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
Part of McDiarmid’s remit will be to drive strategic marketing and innovation across the region’s 47 hotels with a focus on expanding to new destinations.

McDiarmid will be based in Sydney after relocating from the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas where she was Director of Marketing for two years.
Her career highlights also include leveraging global sustainability initiatives which included launching the program that offers meeting planners resources that support environmentally conscious planning and decision making.
