Young event professionals are invited to apply for the 2021 Ungerboeck Young Professional Scholarship, opened this week by Meetings & Events Australia (MEA).
Now in its 17th year, the scholarship program aims to support and nurture the development of future leaders in the events industry.
The eight successful applicants will have the opportunity to attend Evolve 2021, MEA’s national events industry conference, Evolve, taking place in Melbourne on 1 July 2021.
There, they can develop their skills, learn about industry trends and best practice, and engage with industry leaders and suppliers.
To be eligible, the applicant must be 30 years of age or under at date of close of application, have less than three years of full-time industry experience and have a demonstrated commitment to their job and the industry.
Applications are open online until Wednesday 26 May 2021.
