AC Hotels by Marriott debuts in Australia

Located in one of Melbourne's premier events and entertainment precincts, the hotel offers spacious rooms, a range of leisure and dining facilities, and flexible meeting and event space.

Marriott Bonvoy’s AC Hotels by Marriott has debuted in Australia with the opening of AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank.

Located in one of Melbourne’s premier events and entertainment precincts, the hotel has the CBD and South Wharf precinct at its doorstep and offers 205 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and suites with sweeping views of the city skyline and the Yarra River.

Guests have access to a range of collaborative spaces, including the brand’s signature AC Lounge, a modern co-working space by day and a social hub offering European-style tapas by night.

There is a range of leisure facilities, a 24-hour fitness centre; 576 square metres of flexible meeting and event space, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing abundant natural light; and an outdoor infinity pool with pool bar and terrace which can also serve as a pre-function space for up to 200 guests in cocktail.

“Every detail of the experience is meticulously over-thought to create a seamless stay, right in the heart of the city which is known as the design capital of Australia,” AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank general manager Harry Singh said.

“The design approach to every space is optimal comfort and utility through to modern décor, with open layouts offering functional beauty without distraction.”

The hotel marks Marriott International’s ninth hotel in Melbourne and the third new hotel to open in the Victorian capital over the last 12 months.
