The Gold Coast will welcome a Chinese delegation of influential decision makers for incentives and corporate meetings for a three-day famil program this week.
The famil precedes Tourism Australia’s major incentive showcase for the China market, the Business Events Australia Greater China Showcase, which is being held in Australia for the first time.
Destination Gold Coast Business Events executive director Anna Case said the program will offer an insight into the Gold Coast’s business event capabilities.
“This delegation is looking for inspirational destinations to drive performance to employees in Chinese corporations, so they are looking for experiences that will deliver the ultimate reward,” she said.
“The Gold Coast rates highly as an incentive destination and we’re looking forward to demonstrating just how well the city can deliver rewarding programs that leave delegates motivated to achieve.”
Program highlights will include a corroboree and wildlife experience at Dreamworld, catching mud crabs with Tweed Endeavour Cruises, dinner at Palazzo Versace Hotel, breakfast with the dolphins at Sea World, a lunch cruise with Crystal Blue Cruises, accommodation at The Star Gold Coast and plenty more.
The Business Events Australia Greater China Showcase will take place on 26 – 27 November 2018 in Melbourne, with 60 Greater China buyers and media in attendance.
