Trippas White Group has launched a competition to come up with a new moniker for the venue formerly known as Sky Venue.
Located in Westfield Sydney Tower, the renaming coincides with a million dollar refurbishment that will be completed in late August. The refurbished venue will fit 200 people for all styles of events and will have a New York loft feel featuring window lounge seat, timber panelling and moody lighting.
Rebecca Skeete, GM Sales and Marketing at Trippas White Group said, “The tower is distinctly Sydney – it is part of our horizon, our childhood memories and our celebrations. It made sense to us to involve Sydneysiders in choosing a new name for our city’s highest event space. The competition guidelines are simple: we want a punchy name fitting for a Sydney icon.”
The competition is open until August 22 with a shortlist announced on August 25. Finalists will be invited to an exclusive launch party in early September where the venue’s new name will be revealed.
The winner of the competition will win a VIP cocktail party to the value of $2000.
