Celebrity chef restaurant to open inside Sydney Harbour Bridge

BridgeClimb Sydney and Luke Mangan have partnered up to deliver a one-of-a-kind dining experience that is authentically Sydney.

BridgeClimb Sydney has teamed up with renowned Australian chef and restauranteur Luke Mangan to deliver an exclusive dining experience within one of the pylons of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Launching in November, Luke’s Table at the Pylon will be situated on the Lookout level of the South-East Pylon, treating guests to iconic Sydney Harbour and city skyline views as they dine on a signature three-course dinner.

Created by Luke Mangan and his team, the menu will feature premium quality, fresh Australian ingredients, paired with Penfolds wines including their signature, Grange.

“We are ecstatic to be partnering with BridgeClimb to create such a memorable experience at such a special location that Australians have not seen before,” Mangan said.

“This unique restaurant concept is a fantastic way for us to continue to showcase the food and hospitality that the team is renowned for.”

The unique experience will commence with guests making their way up 200 steps through the historic Pylon, while a BridgeClimb climb leader gives a guided tour on the Bridge’s history.

At 87 metres above sea level, the intimate restaurant seats up to 20 guests at a long, communal dining table and can be hired out exclusively for private events. There is also a wrap-around viewing deck from which to take in the views as the sun sets over the harbour.

“Luke’s Table at the Pylon Lookout is a fantastic example of two industries, tourism, and hospitality, innovating to offer people a world-first dining experience, and I am delighted to be working with Luke, a leader of the hospitality industry who passionately supports both industries’ road to recovery,” BridgeClimb chief executive officer Deb Zimmer said.

Luke’s Table at the Pylon Lookout will open 17 November and run through on Thursday and Friday nights until 22 December, with future dates to be announced.
