The rolling two-year, multi-million-dollar renovation has been announced by TFE Hotels and owners Far East Orchard.
The works will begin with painting, new carpet and new furniture in time for summer, with more significant long-term upgrades planned for the conferencing space, hotel rooms, front entrance, swimming pool and public areas.
“The carpets reflect the swash of the Indian Ocean as it reaches the Scarborough shoreline, while the newly painted walls imitate the colours of the dunes in the early morning,” says TFE Hotels’ regional general manager for WA, Warwick Kahl.
“The hotel’s balconies will also get a refresh with new furniture expected to roll out early in the new year.
“With the recent $100 million revitalisation to the bustling Scarborough foreshore, there are loads of activities for tourists and locals.”
In early November 2024, the hotel welcomed new spa offering Solace Day Spa, which complements the site’s Mentelle Deck – popular for film screenings – with views overlooking the sea.
