The University of New South Wales (UNSW) has officially reopened its Roundhouse venue after extensive refurbishments. After stripping out and completely refitting its interior, the venue reopens with a selection of additional function spaces, as well as a new main entrance giving easy access to the Light Rail Line on Anzac Parade, which is due for completion in 2019.

Its signature 1,000-capacity round main room has been completely modernised with a skylight fit into the centre of the venue, a parquetry dancefloor, and Australian spotted gum wood paneling throughout the mezzanine balcony, foyers and bars. Investment has also been made into a number of audiovisual features, including a flown PA system, a modular stage, and a new lighting truss.

For smaller events, the venue now includes eight multi-functional breakout spaces, with capacity for 20 to 270 delegates, as well as a selection of networking areas including two bars and an outdoor beer garden fit with a stage for live performances.
