A new luxury hotel has arrived in the Murray River region, with the opening of The Sebel Yarrawonga at Silverwoods Golf and Lifestyle Resort.
The hotel opening comes at an exciting time for Victorians, as lockdown and border restrictions ease across the state.
The Sebel Yarrawonga is a three-hour drive from Melbourne and offers 63 studio rooms and apartments overlooking Lake Mulwala on the Murray River.
“Everyone is looking for a well-earned change of scenery and some wide open space after a challenging year and we are looking forward to welcoming guests from across Victoria and interstate when borders open,” said general manager Rebecca Russell.
Meetings and events
The property features six meeting spaces ranging from conference rooms, a terrace area, restaurants and the boardroom.
There’s more than 600 square metres of event space in total, accommodating up to 500 guests at regular capacity.
For post-conferencing or incentive itineraries, groups can make use of the adjacent Black Bull 18-hole Championship Golf Course, which is ranked 68 in the top 100 courses in Australia by Golfers Digest.
The hotel will initially open two of its three food and beverage venues, Stock & Barrel bar and casual dining and Sunset Pool Bar, with Elizabeth’s fine dining restaurant and function space set to open early December.
The SOL Health & Wellness Day Spa is also due to open early January.
