The Sebel Newcastle Beach is scheduled to open its doors on November 1, bringing key meeting space to a highly sought-after location.

Newcastle’s newest hotel boasts 88 well-appointed guestrooms, many with Pacific Ocean and harbour vistas, along with a gymnasium, spa, steam room and three meeting rooms.

To prepare the hotel for its opening in less than three weeks, Mirvac Hotels and Resorts has appointed Simon Glover as General Manager.

Glover is no stranger to the Hunter Region having previously held the position of General Manager at The Sebel Kirkton Park Hunter Valley for eight years.

He will be responsible for all operational aspects of Mirvac’s latest Sebel hotel and will oversee accommodation, food and beverage, leisure facilities and sales and marketing for the property.
