TFE Hotel’s new urban resort, The Calile Hotel, has opened its doors in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.
Located in the James Street precinct, the property features 175 rooms including nine suites and two premier suites, each fitted with a balcony.
The Calile can cater to events of more than 500 guests across a variety of spaces, including a grand ballroom, rooftop amphitheatre and outdoor terrace.
Hotel manager Jeremy Nordkamp says the opening sets a new standard for hotels in Brisbane.
“The Calile Hotel will offer an urban resort experience like no other and I’m excited to be part of the team at TFE Hotels to open it today,” he says.
“The hotel will set a new benchmark for guest experiences through design, fashion and a high level of impeccable hospitality.”
Designed by local architects Richards & Spence, the hotel will also feature a large retail offering and top-tier restaurants and bars.
Flagship restaurant Hellenika will serve a modern Greek menu in a 600 square metre space, which opens onto the pool terrace. A new micro precinct, Ada Lane, will soon open next to the hotel, featuring five street-level eateries and bars.
