Historic Houses Trust  venues are excited to announce that a marquee structure will be erected in the Southern Courtyard of the World Heritage Listed Hyde Park Barracks Museum between 18th November and 17th December 2011.

For the first time offered a permanent marquee will be erected for corporate Christmas events. A competitive per person fee has been developed in conjunction with Class Occasion Hire.


Located in the historic precinct of Macquarie Street, in the heart of Sydney’s CBD is the World Heritage Listed Hyde Park Barracks Museum.

With backdrops of the surrounding historic buildings juxtaposed against the city skyline the Hyde Park Barracks Museum is an ideal venue for large scale events The Southern Courtyard can accommodate up to 500 people for cocktails or 350 for a sit down dinner in a marquee.

Venue hire and marquee packages are priced at $35 per person inc gst with a minimum of 250 people include a dedicated events coordinator, events supervisor onsite during the event, the 10m x 45m white roof marquee with clear zip sides,and 2.4m wall height, plywood flooring, white silk roof lining, basic lighting, 10 cocktail tables, up to 6 hours hire and much more.
