At last night’s NSW Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence, the Sydney Entertainment Centre (SEC) once again won the highly competitive ‘plate’ for the Sydney Metropolitan Venue Caterer Award.

This is the second consecutive year the SEC has won this category, proving yet again the SEC’s ability to deliver the best food experience in the state.
The NSW Restaurant and Catering Awards recognise and reward excellence, innovation and creativity. The prestigious awards truly set the benchmark with all candidates competing against the “who’s who” of Sydney’s major venues and organisations.
The SEC’s food & beverage team impressed the judges with the venue’s outstanding culinary experience, combining a variety of fresh food and ingredients with an emphasis on sustainability and provenance – focusing on local produce and exceptional presentation.
The SEC’s assistant general manager, Rohit Maini, welcomed the recognition and said “the SEC is delighted once again to win this prestigious award for the second consecutive year. The SEC’s Food & Beverage team works tirelessly in the areas of culinary creativity, whilst maximising the patron experience in an entertainment setting”.
As the NSW state winner, the SEC will now be competing in the National Finals to be held in Brisbane on 29 October.
