Celebrity chef Sean Connolly has opened Sean’s Kitchen in Adelaide’s Skycity Casino.
The focus of the restaurant is local produce, with Saskia Beer on board as well as Michael Erikson for Berkshire pork, marron from Kangaroo Island Gold, and sheep dairy products from Island Pure. The restaurant also has a curiously titled museum of ham which features hams from all over the world.
The venue has a capacity of 180 people divided between alfresco, upstairs and private dining spaces and a chef’s table.
For east coasters who want to try Connolly’s food, head down to The Morrison on George Street in Sydney where he has launched his summer menu that features dishes like Alaskan king crab craws with warm lemon butter, scampi ceviche, poached egg and kale salad, Persian feta and watermelon salon and much more.
