Rydges Sydney Central has unveiled two brand new event spaces, adding a cinema and rooftop space to the Surry Hills property.

The 60-seat cinema and auditorium is fitted with new technology and comfortable cinema-style seating, each with folding desks.

The space is suitable for a corporate conference, presentation or movie screening and will be available for guests during the school holiday period.

Meanwhile, the new Garden Rooftop Space is a located directly above the cinema on level five and is an ideal break-out or catering space for groups utilising the cinema.

The venue can host up to 70 people for cocktail events or 40 for a seated dinner.

To compliment the new venues, the hotel’s level 11 rooftop space, The Surry, has been completely refurbished and is currently undergoing an extension.

Once complete in mid-December this year, the rooftop will be able to host an additional 100 guests on the outdoor terrace space with views over Central Station.

Rydges Sydney Central also feature 309 newly refurbished accommodation rooms and suites.

Hotel guests can enjoy 24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi, Rydges’ signature Rise breakfast and onsite craft beer venue, Sydney Brewery Surry Hills.
