Rydges Geelong has unveiled a new restaurant and bar experience as part of a series of refurbishments across the property.
Nautica Pool Bar & Kitchen features indoor and alfresco dining and bar spaces and a locally sourced food concept.
The 130-seat restaurant also includes a 26-seat private dining room, Ms Nautica, perfect for corporate and private events.
Led by executive chef Eddie Basich, Nautica Pool Bar and Kitchen offers a menu of fresh, locally sourced produce, with a variety of shared plates, pizzas, grilled meats and seafood.
The Feasting Menu is designed to give groups a taste of Nautica’s best dishes, including yellowfin tuna ceviche with lemon oil, fennel and capers; Furphy-battered fish with crunchy fries and lemon and herb mayo; chicken schnitzel, celeriac and apple slaw and fries; and the Nautica ice cream sundae.
“Nautica has been designed to present hotel guests and the local community a great new option for delicious dining, weekend drinks, after work catch ups, corporate events and parties – it is the perfect place for a long lunch, client meeting or a relaxed sundowner,” said Rydges Geelong general manager Grant Melville.
In addition to the new restaurant, Rydges Geelong will also unveil a new lobby, two new-look event spaces and updated rooms as part of the refurbishment program.
Rydges Geelong is located in Geelong CBD, which is located a one-hour ferry ride from Melbourne, Victoria.
