Queenstown resort Oaks Shores has just unveiled its $1.8 million accommodation makeover.

Set on the banks of Lake Wakatipu and overlooking the Remarkables mountain range, Oaks Shores has rejuvenated all of its rooms and apartments.

Each of the 127 hotel rooms and apartments now feature new carpet, reupholstered lounges and chairs, soft furnishings and décor, floor and bedside lamps, beds, timber bedheads and linen packs, in-room safes, and window treatments, which complement the modern kitchens, gas fire places and sleek bathrooms.
