Event Hospitality & Entertainment has announced it will open its third QT hotel in New Zealand, adding QT Auckland to its growing portfolio.
Event has entered a management agreement with the Russell Property Group and Lockwood Property Group for the hotel, which will become the 10th QT hotel in the group.
Set to open in early 2020, QT Auckland will be conveniently located at Viaduct Harbour and will feature 150 guests rooms.
A number of conference and event spaces will be on offer, as well as a new QT signature dining concept and bar.
Event Hospitality and Entertainment CEO Jane Hastings said Auckland has been a “missing piece” of the QT footprint.
“Our partnership with Russell Property Group and Lockwood Property Group, together with our talented team of QT creatives, will ensure a QT Auckland experience that will carve a place of its own in the fabric of the city,” she said.
Taking the lead on the design of QT Auckland is interior designer Nic Graham, who is also behind several QT properties and the recently opened W Brisbane. Graham is tasked with designing the hotel’s public spaces, which will feature QT’s signature quirk.
