Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort has opened a new ballroom, three breakout rooms and a new culture-based team building program.

Named after the Similan Islands in the Andaman Sea near Phuket, the Similan Ballroom and three meeting rooms called Tongfah (Sky), Tawan (Sun) and Talay (Sea), will position Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort as a first choice for medium-sized events.

The Similan Ballroom measures 716 square metres, the Tongfah 158 square metres and the Tawan and Talay breakout rooms are 77 square metres each.

Outrigger managing director Asia-Pacific Darren Edmonstone said,“With the unveiling of this fantastic addition to the property, Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort is now committed to MICE excellence. The new Similan meeting space allows Outrigger to extend its unique passion for meetings excellence and team building to event organisers around the world.”

The four meeting spaces feature free WiFi, natural daylight, dedicated technical support, an event and catering team, and audio visual and conference amenities.
