The opening of Skye Suites & Residences Green Square, part of the $575 million Infinity by Crown Group development in Sydney, has been fast-tracked in response to a surge in demand for long-stay accommodation.
While the hotel component of the property will open in July 2020, Skye Residences will open its doors this week to offer serviced-apartment stays of three months or more to long-stay residents.
Located in Sydney’s inner-south, the mixed-use development will also be home to a dedicated conference facility, with the Infinity Convention Centre slated to open in late 2020.
Crown Group chief operating officer Pierre Abrahamse said the new hotel is an appealing element to the precinct, located just outside the the CBD.
“Residents and guests will have the opportunity to stay in Sydney’s most iconic new architectural creation, created by world-renowned Koichi Takada Architects,” he said.
“They will have all of Sydney on their doorstep, with the city and airport only minutes away.
“What’s more, these are the perfect locales to enjoy a luxurious and comfortable stay that feels just like home, but with the luxury touches of a hotel.”
Each of the property’s studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments feature full kitchens and laundry facilities, making them suitable for the long-stay market.
Guests even have the luxury of an enclosed balcony or courtyard, plus large living spaces, in-room TV screens with Google Chromecast and luxury bedding.
Keyless entry and ‘virtual concierge’ tablets in each suite allows guests to access hotel services and check in via mobile, ensuring a contactless check-in and stay.
