The acquisition of Oaks Oasis has seen Oaks Hotels & Resorts assume the rights to its sixteenth Queensland property.

Etched into Caloundra’s history as a local tourist landmark, the former Oasis Resort is set to receive a multi-million dollar makeover, with Oaks Hotels & Resorts’ plans including a revamp of the property’s restaurant, bar, conference facilities, accommodation and grounds.

“We look forward to welcoming a new wave of visitors to Caloundra who enjoy the quality and service the Oaks brand is renowned for. Plans to introduce a water park to the resort are also being discussed which we envisage will attract even more visitors to the area,” said Cole.

Oaks Oasis comprises 180 accommodation rooms set amongst four acres of landscaped gardens and include hotel rooms, studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments and villas. Some apartments include kitchen facilities, balconies and free on-site parking, as well as a central, tropical pool with spa, children’s playground, onsite restaurant and sports bar, games room, tennis court, and conference facilities also on offer.
