Following on from the $6 million worth of completed works, the 100-hectare resort will now begin a $4 million stage two upgrade.
This next phase will see the villa accommodation, championship golf course, conference and events facilities, common areas, and onsite food and beverage establishments getting a makeover.
50 per cent of the resort’s 136 self-contained one, two, three and four bedroom villas have already received a modern makeover, with the remaining villas getting upgraded in the next 12 months.
A further $1.5 million will be invested into the golf course over the next three years, which, among other things, will go towards the installation of an irrigation system and a complete bunker upgrade for the 6,467 square metre, par 72 course.
Upgrades to the resort’s dedicated conferencing and events precinct – including a grand function space that caters for up to 400 guests – will re-open this month. The refurbishment includes the installation of special soundproof, acoustic backed walls, air-conditioning and lighting systems, and upgraded fixtures and fittings including new carpets, curtains, and fresh paint.
A new 800-pax lagoon pool marquee has also recently been added to the property and the dining venues are set to receive a refresh.
