The crown jewel of Novotel Melbourne St Kilda’s conference and event facilities – the 300 person capacity pillarless ballroom – has completed extensive refurbishments and upgrades just in time for the party season.
Following the $8 million refurbishment in 2009 of the hotel’s 11 other conference spaces, 211 guestrooms, lobby, reception, restaurant and bar; a further $150,000 has been spent just on upgrading the ballroom to complete the Novotel’s renaissance.

Continuing the vibrant modern look so successfully created in the hotel lobby, designers Collins Vergnaud Architecture Design have again developed a bright contemporary space complete with new carpets and fresh new colours featuring brand new digital signage technology and energy efficient lighting to satisfy sustainable conferencing requirements.
Total room capacities and configurations for the ballroom include up to 300 cocktail style.
Novotel St Kilda’s Grill 3182 restaurant utilises its prime location on the Esplanade to show off views of the beach, providing an indoor/outdoor dining concept in classic bar & grill style which can also be used for private dinners, functions and conference purposes.
All 211 bay view and city view rooms and suites feature a fresh new look in keeping with the relaxed beachside vibe whilst offering a chic contemporary style to suit its city fringe location. Views across St Kilda Beach and Port Phillip Bay are available in all bay view rooms and suites whilst city view rooms provide CBD vistas.
