Accor will open a brand new 431-room Novotel property in Perth this month, adding to the city’s growing hotel portfolio.
Slated for a soft opening on 19 December 2019, Novotel Perth Murray St will feature four meeting rooms and a conference room for up to 120 people, plus four bars and restaurants and a 12th floor fitness and spa facility.
The project has been fast-tracked to take advantage of the summer holiday period in Australia, with 40 rooms opening in December. The rest of the hotel rooms and public spaces will open by the first quarter of 2020.
Simon McGrath, chief operating officer at Accor Pacific said the group is proud to partner with Fragrance Group on the project, which comes at a pivotal time for the Western Australian capital.
“We are confident in the growth of international tourism in Perth and having the renowned global branding of Novotel and Accor’s worldwide distribution will help to bring new international visitors to Perth,” he said.
“With new Qantas routes between Perth and London, new connections between Tokyo and test flights to Shanghai, the future is looking bright.”
Fragrance Group CEO James Koh said the hotel will serve business travellers and tourists alike.
