Novotel Brisbane hotel manager Ben Patten told guests that despite economic despair dominating the media of late, the Brisbane accommodation industry was holding strong.

‘Despite the doom and gloom presented in the media, for the most part the Brisbane market is projected to grow strongly toward the end of 2011 and into 2012. Leisure and weekend travel has been impacted by the challenges Queensland experienced in the beginning of 2011 and as a result, there are some great deals out there in family friendly hotels such as Novotel Brisbane,’ he said.

“I’m sure you’ll all agree that Novotel Brisbane is looking fantastic and we would like to thank you for your support and look forward to continuing to offer the highest level of comfort and service as we move into our next era.” said Patten.

The event was held as Accor celebrates its 20th year in Australia and was part of a series of World of Accor events across the region.
